Among the world’s leading cocoa exporters, the Dominican Republic has a territory that gives cocoa extremely heterogeneous aromatic qualities. In an area with a subtropical climate, with a relative humidity of 80% and three underground rivers that guarantee constant irrigation of the land, we found one of the finest qualities of the Grand Cru Cocoa: Los Bejucos. Furthermore, from some of the most exclusive plantations in the province of Duarte, ICAM has selected the finest cocoa, the “Hispaniola” cocoa.
